Admission/Application to EMDAS

The registration process is composed of 3 steps:

• the application for admission to the selection.
• the selection of candidates for admission.
• the registration.

• THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION


• The admission form have to be send to the Student Registration Office within 15 October 2010, to the above-mentioned address or fax number.
• Admission form can be filled in English

Documents to be annexed to the Admission form



• Candidates graduated in a


• non-Italian University of a EU country have also to deliver:
• a copy of diploma;
• a formal translation of it into Italian, done by an official translator;
• the so called "Declaration of Value"*, provided by an Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where the diploma has been obtained; or, instead of the Declaration of Value, the Diploma Supplement, provided by the university where the diploma has been obtained;
• a curriculum vitae (CV);
• a copy of all documents considered useful for admission;


• non-Italian University of a non-EU country have also to deliver:
• a copy of diploma;
• a formal translation of it into Italian, done by an official translator;
• the so called "Declaration of Value"¹, provided by an Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where the diploma has been obtained;
• a curriculum vitae (CV);
• a copy of all documents considered useful for admission;


• Italian University have also to deliver:
• a copy of diploma, or a substitute declaration of certification, according to Italian law;
• a curriculum vitae (CV);
• a copy of all documents considered useful for admission;



¹ In order to obtain the declaration of value, candidates have to deliver to the Italian Embassy/ Consulate their diploma. Candidates will also obtain the legalization of it for Italy and help from an official translator. If providing the declaration of value would take a long period of time, candidates can ask Italian Embassy/Consulate for a signature or a stamp on their request, and then they can annex a copy of it to their admission form, to prove that the procedure have been started.

• or by fax to: n. +39 0321 375275, with a copy of an identity document.


• SELECTION OF CANDIDATES

The maximum number of registration is 25 The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the documentation
The list of admitted candidates will be published on 22 October 2010


• REGISTRATION


• The application for registration of admitted candidates have to be send within 29 October 2010, to the above-mentioned address or fax number.
• A copy of the receipt of the payment (first instalment only) have to be annexed to the application

Documents to be annexed to the Admission form
• The application fee is 2.600€ and it has to be paid in two instalments. The first one, 1.300€, has to be paid within 29 October 2010; the second one, 1.300€, has to be paid within 31 May 2011. Students from other countries have also to pay 29,24€ for taxes (revenue stamps for application form and diploma). Italian students can buy revenue stamps and deliver them to the Student Registration Office.

Purpose of payment: Name of the student, European Masters in Drug and Alcohol Studies (e.g. John Smith, European Masters in Drug and Alcohol Studies);

No bank fees could be charged on the University account.
